Linking Your Web Site to Online Appointment Scheduling

You have the option to use your own, unique web site that is not hosted by CMJ Designs Inc. and link to the online booking feature. For example, you may already have a custom web site or are having a designer create one for you. If you are using the web site hosted by CMJ Designs Inc., then you can ignore this page.

Using a web site that is not hosted by CMJ Designs Inc. has two advantages:

• Your existing web site can be used or a new, "ground-up" web site for your business can be created. If you wish to use the online appointment scheduling feature, but have your own, unique web site, you should sign-up for an online appointment scheduling account. You must also put a link from your own web site to the booking page on the online appointment scheduling web site. See below for instructions on adding a link from your site to the online scheduling page.

• The advantage of having your own web site allows you to create and maintain your own web site. If you choose to use the online appointment scheduling feature, setup is fast and easy.

Adding the Online Appointment Scheduling Page to Your Own Web Site :

To bring up the online appointment scheduling page on your web site, simply add the following link:

http://www.OurSalonOnline.com/Online/book.aspx?acc=ACCOUNT

where "ACCOUNT" is the name of your account (that you selected when you signed up for the online appointment booking).

Example
For example, if your account name is ABC, then the link would be as follows:

http://www.OurSalonOnline.com/Online/book.aspx?acc=ABC

This link will bring up only the online appointment scheduling page. The header and sidebar (list of links on the left side of the page) will not be displayed.

For best results, it is recommended that your web site use frames and that the link to the online appointment scheduling page appears in main portion of the frame. This way, you can have your business's header and sidebar present when your customer is scheduling an appointment. Using frames will also cause the URL not to change, so your customers will not know they are actually scheduling their appointment on the online appointment scheduling web site.
