What software do I need to purchase to use the online appointment booking?
You must have the Standard, Professional, or Network version of one of the software packages shown below to use the Online Appointment Booking. The Online Appointment Booking feature works with the database in Salon Iris, Orchid Medical Spa Software, DaySmart, or 123Pet software to determine times appointments are available. Also, the services, products, and employee information displayed on the web site are taken directly from the database inside of Salon Iris, Orchid Medical Spa Software, DaySmart, or 123Pet software.

What will my web site look like?
What information will my web site display?
You will receive your own web site that enables you to do
online appointment request booking. You will be able to
customize much of the information on this site. Click here to view a sample web site.
Your site will contain multiple
pages and will be able to display the following information:
- Welcome page: This is the page
that your customers will see when they first visit your
web site. This page can contain the name of your business,
a basic description of services your business offers, the
phone number, fax number, and address.
- Services page: All the services that are available
for online appointment scheduling are displayed. The services
shown are based on the services entered into your software from CMJ Designs Inc., and
you can decide what services you would like displayed. You
can also optionally display the prices.
- Schedule Check page: Your customers can check to
see what times an employee has available to secure an appointment.
- Employees page: List the names of the available employees
who can take online appointments. You may customize the
display of each employee's name. For example, you may select
to only display the employee's first name and first letter
of his/her last name.
- Specials page: List any specials your business offers.
- Contact Information page: List your e-mail address, phone
number, address, and directions to your business.
- Booking page: This is the page that is used to book
online appointments.
Cost and Free Trial
How much does it cost?
The web site with online appointment scheduling system is completely
free to use for the first 10 days after you sign-up. If
you decide you do not like it during that time, just cancel
your account and you will not be billed for anything. If
you decide to keep your account, you pay just $29.95/month or $19.95/month if paid in advance
for 1 year. There are no other charges or per-use fees.

you can just shut those pages off. You can even disable
the appointment booking section if you only want to have
a web site, but not take online appointments.

Your clients can book an appointment in just a few minutes.
Once a client books an appointment request over the internet,
how does my business get notified of the appointment? Do
I have the option to accept or reject the appointment request?
The software will "talk" to your web site and the
internet. Your software will receive the request for the appointment.
You have the option to accept or reject the appointment
request.
Security
How safe is the online appointment scheduling
system? I do not want somebody having access to my customers'
information.
Your web site does not contain any of your customers'
information or sales information from your business. Additionally,
your database is never transferred to the web site. Only
basic information about days and times your employees are
available to accept new appointments is displayed on your
web site. This information, as well as other information
(such as lists of products and services) can by hidden at
any time.
Can I set a password that my clients must enter before
they can book an appointment request over the internet?
Yes. You can set a password in the Web Site Appearance feature. Your customers will have to enter this password
before they can make an appointment request.
Integration
I already have a web site. Can I use the
online appointment scheduling and keep my current web site?
Yes. All you need to do is place a link on your web site
to allow your customers to book online appointments. Click here for more information.
I already have my own domain. Can I use the online appointment
booking with my own domain?
Yes. If you have web site hosting with your
domain, then all you need to do is place our index.html
page in the root of your web site. You can obtain this file
from www.MySalonOnline.com/ACCOUNT/index.txt (where ACCOUNT
is your account name). The other option is to transfer your
domain to us or give us access to your domain and we will
setup everything for you.
